Dark Horse Espresso Bar is a legend in the Toronto cafe scene and has expanded to various locations beyond the city into all of southern Ontario. The client wanted to keep true to its underdog roots while breathing life into the new retail packaging. From humble beginnings to all star status, the labels use distinct typography with bold personalities to match the coffee profiles. Using the brand’s secondary palette along with gold foil on matte black packaging created a unique, rich and vibrant collection that stands out on the shelves at every location while capturing the brand story.
